Even though it has been 20 years, you will not forget how to ride. You might be a little rusty at first but you will be just as good as you were pretty quick. You should be able to ride almost any bike. But depending on the size, type and power of the bike you used to have, you might get a medium sized bike. You should not start off with a gold wing because they are harder to maneuver. But most middle sized Harleys would be good. But to small of a bike would not be comfortable for the commute. A soft tail would be great or a Honda ST 1300. A sport touring bike would be a good idea.
