If you´re patient you can find well maintained early GL1500s for that price, and you will be much happier with that model Wing. I was ready to settle for a 1200, but found a 12 year old 1500 with 42K miles for $4800US a couple of years ago and have had absolutely no problems with it. There are lots of bikes sitting in garages and never ridden - spread the word around that you´re looking for one of them. Good luck.
