Went on a bike run Sunday, 7 bikes, all Harley´s except me and my 650 Star Custom, and a Yam 1300 ....One Sportster 1200, brand new, big 21 inch spoke front wheel that he said though wobbled. My 650 had no trouble keeping up, but Sports was faster of the line, not surprising considering it was twice the size. I´ll eventually trade up to the 1300 but the 650 has plenty of power and even does well on the interstates...with a little shopping around, you can get a new Custom at a really good price, 1/3 of a Sportster.
