I have recently taken up bikes again (last 2 years). I have now realised that the newer the bike the better. I now own a 2008 Suzuki GSX 500 F 2008 with 25,000 ks and
a 2001 Suzuki 1200 Bandit 161,000. I bought the 500 Suzi for $1800 with stale fuel and not going and the Suzi Bandit for $1600. The 500 has been a good ride but the 1200 is a bit clunky in the gear box but has good power, I am now looking at a BMW K100 with 200,000 ks on it, no panniers but a fairing and a tall screen, swap for a 1995 Ford Falcon car.
