I owned a 57 Tiger Cub in 1968. It was my first motorcycle and for me was one of the most enjoyable experiences. I probably rode more than 10,000 miles on that bike including commuting to London from my home in Kent when l first started work. For me that bike was about freedom, excitement and I was heartbroken when that machine was stolen. I managed to pick up an almost identical machine 3 years ago, same colour and it was like meeting an old friend nearly 50 years later.
I have since bought a 69 Trophy, 77 Bonneville and a 63 Sports Tiger Cub.
