Hello I´m currently living in the Napa Valley Northern California an area with many great rides in almost any direction you wish to head off in,I bought myself a 99 Tiger 900 a few months and it has been a lot of fun though a little top heavy for a skinny guy like me but very ridable, until last Saturday where in the town of Sonoma I had just walked out of the bank pulled off my ski mask threw the large sack of cash into my ample rear storage compartment and tried to start my Tiger,I turned the key pulled in the clutch lever in and pressed the starter button, I heard a one moderately loud click from under the seat, my dash lights went out and there was no power for half an hour or so when I tried again and she stared right up.But after that the same click lights and power gone.I´m wondering if it could be the starter solinoid or maybe a relay ? my local Triumph dealer in Marin is moving their store and can´t see the bike for a week or so. Any advice or help with this little problem would be much appreciated and will help me take advantage of this lovely 75 degree weather we are having this week. Thanks Doug |
