My second T´bird. First one was the Adventurer with standard T´bird bars. Did about 12000 miles in two tears, completely trouble-free. I now have almost 12000 on my 2003 T´bird which I got with 6000 on the clock last year; yes, I do like the big miles! Being retired helps! I would recommend Michelins as having the best all-round performer for grip and wear, although Pirelli run them a close second. Maintenance-free gel battery is a good idea too. Fender extender on the front stops the crud flying onto the cases. Progressive springs in the forks and you are ready to Rock ´n´ Roll. Scotland, of course, has some of hte best roads to go play on and the European Passes are not that far away. Ain´t retirement grand!
