Just gave my old Gixxer to my son in Nashville and picked up a used thruxton. I grew up on BSAs and Nortons in the late sixties, and I have to admit, I´m having fun already with this triumph. Now that I´m an official old fart (62), I realize japanese race bikes are for the younger set. I can have fun on the thruxton, and my wife actually will ride on it when I remove the back cover for the pillion seat.
