Both the burgundy red and white stripe, and the white with yellow stripe in the background are 1975 T 160 Tridents. I own one of each. The first (burgundy red)purchased new in Richmond, Indiana in 1975, and the second (white/yellow stripe) purchased from a collector in Florida in the mid-1990´s. They are extremely fun to ride, with excellent reaction. Moreover, their sleek desing makes them look like they are moving even when just sitting on the kickstand. Starting is a %!¤ in cold weather, but they eventually turn over by kick starting (and after twenty-five years has only led to arthritis in my hip). I have travelled cross country on the bikes and they are phenomenal. |
