My 76 Bonnie is getting rewired as well. I find that the wire ends must be looked at closely. Do a continuity check with a test lite and battery to insure you have a solid connection from the ends of the connectors.It is much easier when you have the harness on the bench than on the bike to find and repair a broken wire. Remember it is a positive ground!!!
