i did the same 2 years ago. bike had 3,000 miles. had to completely overhaul the brake hydraulics. replaced the amal carbs with new original equipment carbs from British Parts Chicag. Work great! suggest you do all of the mechanical things necessary to be able to ride and enjoy it. it´s a great bike!
