Was in the Navy during that period. bought a T140V in the US. Same Candy Apple Red, except Cream instad of gold. Most beautiful bike I ever owned.. Great power and nimble, except mine had a horrible head shake (speed wobble) that would happen during moderate cornering or high speed straight line runs. It was completely unpredictable as to when or how it happened. Did you experience any of this. I eventually sold the Bonnie and bought a ´74 Ducati 750 GT. It was unbelievably stable, but simply didn´t have the eagerness of the Triumph.
