Hi, I am new to this site. I am based in the south of the UK and have just bought a July 1972 T120V (Engine and frame numbers match and begin HG ) I am puzzled. The registration document and the flashes on the side panels show it as a 750cc machine. It has a 10 stud head duel carb head and the tappet covers each have 6 securing nuts. the primary transmision has a triplex chain. The bike is fitted with conical hubs with drum brakes. I intend to strip the motor in the near future to determine exactly what cc it is. What have I bought? Is it a 650 somebody has put a big bore kit on or is it a very early 750 Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in anyicipation rich |
