Hi! I bought my Triumph Sprint ST ABS four months ago (got the gel seat too). I love the bike for it´s looks as well....Nice!! Ive got the two panniers and bags with it, and these have been great. Gripes:- It´s a big and heavy bike, so Im still getting used to the handling....It tends to run a bit wide around corners (but that could be due to my dodgy skills than the bike!) I hear the 2007 models come standard with the raised screens...this is probably a good thing, as I tend to cop a bit of wind...Im 182cm tall. Also, they´re raising the handle bars to make the ride position a bit better.....I havent done too much long distance riding yet, so I cant really say if theres a problem for me with the 2006 setup. Im not sure if the top box can fit a helmet...but I wont be getting one because Im not keen on the looks. Shame that the bike doesnt have a locking point for helmets! Look, overall, I love my bike! (especially now the weather is hotting up here). Im still not convinced about the build quality, but then again, Im comparing it to BMW´s....so I guess you pay for that. Good luck with it all! |
