Forks seal problems?

I´ve had my Sprint for 6 years/30,000 miles and LOVE the bike. I still don´t push it to it´s limits very often. Problem is, I´ve gone through 3 sets of fork seals since I bought the bike. Is this a problem others have had? By the way, installed a Throttlemeister friction lock and just love it!
