Thanks for the suggestion. I put a new air filter in, the truimph manufacutured unit, and found an improvement in economy of about 10%!! Replacing the air filter unit is no easy task though, it almost rivals changing the front sprocket for fun.
I´ve been checking out other bikes and took a 2004 Sprint demo bike for a run. The ride position is no where near as ´relaxed´ as the ´95 and was and hard on the wrists, even with risers on to raise the bars. I must be getting old ....
