I know Triumph offers a low or high profile windshield.(probably for about $150-200) If you look at the Triumph Executive windscreen it is exactly like the one I have on my ´95 Sprint.(I have hard bags and a windscreen) I really like it because in the summer it catches loads of bugs that I would be eating otherwise, and in the winter it keeps the cold air from blasting me. I´ve been looking at pipes so mine can be a little louder, but don´t know if I want to spend about $800, plus readjust my valves and carburetor for the more unrestricted breathing the pipes will give. I´ve read that lots of guys put on new pipes and then lose power under 4000RPM because the engine hasn´t been set for the new pipes.(bogging and poor idle)
I´m still riding my Sprint to work everyday in Columbus,Ohio,(I´ll probably put on 10K this year) This bike is too fun to ride about 80 MPH on the freeway. Smooth and fast. I waxed it yesterday with this stuff I bought at Target called Nu-Finish(orange bottle). It is great. Man, it shined the bike up better than Meguires or Mother´s. I keep running gas additive every 5 or 6th fillup to keep the valves clean and the carb jets too. I only buy Shell 89 octane, and stay away from gas stations that sell grain additives like methanol and ethanol. They leave a residue inside the fuel system.
Ride safe, and keep a firm grip on reality.
