I just took delivery of a new 2007 Speedmaster and was surprised (unpleasantly) to find that the tank is different. I am told it is a 2008 tank. I think it is incredibly slack that such a pivotal part of a bikes styling can be changed without notification to buyers. (Dealer models, brochures & web all show 2007 tank). I bought a Triumph because of its retro styling in comparison to Japanese cruisers. The new tank looks like its off any of the Japanese big 4.
Has anyone seen this new 2008 tank?
Any comments on its styling?
