Apples and oranges, brother. What type of riding do you do and is the HD sceene what you are looking for? The Brit bike is quicker, handles better, and is cheaper, but a Harley is a Harley! If you go HD, steer away from the 883. That should not even be a consideration. Although the Triumph is a 900, it runs away from the HD. I routinely dust off my buddy´s softail, and it is a 1400. I´ve owned both, and they are both unique experiences.
