Hi, I´m just about to get back into bikes after a 7 yr lay off due to working in various countries and buying a house. I used to have a CBR600 and am just about to go order a black S3. I can´t wait. Now seeing as you are taking a cautious approach I think that you will do just fine with the bike... take your time and get a good feel for the torque curve and you will love every minute. Go for it!!!
