| Mike, I just bought a speed triple and I LOVE it!! I´m 6´2" and about 230 and don´t have any trouble fitting on the bike. Though the best thing to do is go with a friend to check one out and have him hold it up for you so you can get an idea of the riding position. I think you will find it much more comfortable than the Ninja. One drawback is wind blast with the upright Triple seating position. I prefer to look at this as a natural speeding ticket deterrent!! This bike has smooth linear power with no hidden surprises and performs very predictably. I don´t know what they were talking about when they told you twitchy steering. This is the best handling bike I´ve ever ridden. Uncontrollable my ass!! I´m not a big wheelie guy, and I´ve never had the bike try to do one when I didn´t want it!! Though I´m quite sure you could easily do them if that is your thing. I´d highly recommend this bike and prices are better than ever. If you get one, let me know what you think. Enjoy!! |
