Hello mate. The option of a 6 speed box was available from the start of the triples run in late ´94, as it came from the factory with 6th blanked off and slightly higher ratios from 2 to 4 in the original 5 speeder. I´ve got a ´94 model in Diablo black with Sebring 3 into 1 exhaust and superbike bars fitted as clip ons, once you´ve suffered broken wrists from a previous crash, are a real pain. A great bike, just use the torque to demolish lines of traffic before the 4 pot brakes bring the speed back to " acceptable" levels. Enjoy!
