I rode an R3 for a few miles around town, and I´m still romanticizing about it, and intend owning one - yet I didn´t get beyond third gear. I loved the tractability along with that tremendous acceleration. It´s sort of like my old ´69 Bonnie but with balls, - and brakes. The low centre of gravity makes the bikes feel like a bike should. I´m not a fan of the feet-forward riding position but I found myself adjusting to it OK. My days of track racing are over so the modest cornering clearance is not an issue. This bike appeals to me big time.
