1200 miles and extremely happy |

Picked up my Rlll on August 10th, have done the 500 mile service and since then gone another 700 miles. Needless to sasy, I love to ride my Rocket lll. I had a VTX1800C, 2002 and really liked the bike but the Rlll is a whole different world of biking. The VTX handled like a pig in comparrison. The power is incredible but the bike is so smooth and handles so well that it is decieving. Crank the throttle at 60 mph for a couple seconds and you are at 100 mph almost instantly and it still feels like 60. This bike is built for speed and it feels save at twice the limit. The more I ride it the more I love it. The only negative I have found was the shifter sticking in the up position intermitently during the first 200 miles of breakin. I was told that that jwould go away and it did. I am extremely satisfied. I live in Northern Virginia but traveled up to Delaware for the purchase and the guys at Power Sports East were great. They even negotiated a bit to get me out of my Honda loan. All in all, this is a great bike. burr3rd |
