I´m in Sacramento CA and the Triumph dealer here has plenty of R3´s. 3 on the floor, 3 in crates and more on the way. I think they are great bikes and I´m seriously considering buying one -- but they don´t seem to be flying out showroom doors around here anyway. I´ve made two observations concerning quality/fit & finish. 1., There seems to be little track marks on the front forks on about half the R3´s I´ve seem. It´s like something clamped-down on the forks at the factory. I think I saw these marks on the bikes used in the factory sales literature. 2nd, the Tach and Spedo housings are chromed plastic. CHEESY! Otherwise, I have found no other falut in the fit and finish aspect. |
