Accessing the battery?

I need to charge the battery on my "new" Triumph Legend (2000), but I can´t for the life of me figure out how to get to it. I bought it w/out a manual and I don´t want to have to wait until one I ordered to come in to charge the battery. Any help woulod be appreciated.
