Have a 2006 daytona 955, bought new here in NZ. Found to be pretty much an under rated bike. I like to ride quickly occasionally and have little difficulty keeping up with a zealously ridden japanese liter bike.I find it hard to find fault, maybe an ohlins steering damper, but thats only when you hit the big bumps at speed cornering. Our roads here are great, but the surface condition is often rubbish. Only real flaw I can think of is visual, had the stock pipe removed on payment, and fitted a thunderbike pipe, which sounds better but the styling not much improved. why dont arrow or zard make a pipe for the daytona?
Something similar to the one these companies make for the 1050 speedtriple would be perfect! Anyone else agree?
