I am looking at buying a 2004 Daytona 600 from a friend of mine. It only has 2800 miles on it and I´m getting it CHEAP!!

The owner of the bike called to let me know that he was replacing the battery. After he did so, he said that the red EMS light came on. As I am new the Triumph world, can someone please tell me what this light means?? The current owner is not the original owner and does not have the original manual. The bike is not salvaged and has ZERO cosmetic damage. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
