Just got a Daytona 600, had a GSXR600 - 1999 Model....never felt comfortable on it being 6´5". GIXER just never inspired me although it is still a good bike for a very experienced rider. The Daytona on the other hand, it´s comfortable, it handles like a dream although I am still running in....it´s away for it´s 500 mile first service so still at 6K rev limit...saying that, that gives me about 70mph...went on a run out with my brother in law (Daytona 955i) and we stuck to 70 as much as possible and the 600 took everything I chucked at it. The weathewr was mixed sunny mainly but rained on and off through out day. The OE Diablos were superb in wet and dry and not once did I feel I had bitten of more than I could chew. Rear tyre is already only about 5-10mm of the edge so I have not been shy in the corners. Not sure what else to say apart from thank god for Triumph, the Daytona 600 for me is just the dogs nads. |
