G´Day to you from the states. Just finished watching the Aussie Open recently. Lovely city and fans, but since live T.V. coverage here starts at 10p.m. and goes until 2-3a.m. I fells tired for two weeks. I am glad to here you like your 1200. I was lucky enough to find a ´99 Special Edition with only 1,200km on it this psat December. I agree that it is a fast accelerating bike. However, it also has a long wheelbase and is 495lbs. (225kg) so do not expect to be as quick in curves as lighter bikes. It will not flick from side to side as well due to its weight. Great on sweepers. So just keep this in mind when you do track days and keep safe. You mean this Mad Max stuff with empty desert roads and high speeds is just a dream, and instead you are living in a 110km. world down under? My world is suddenly turned upside down. |
