I recently acquired a 1995 Daytona 1200, it hasn´t been run for about 12 months. Apparently when it did run it used to suffer from hesitant acceleration when attempting an overtaking maneuver or similar, I assume this to be a carburetor problem and will probably start with a good clean out of said components. Anyone come across this before and could point me in any other rectification direction would be appreciated. Another thing I stumbled upon was this bike has a 17 inch rear wheel, according to the manual I got with the bike it should be fitted with an 18inch rear wheel. Is this an option or has it been changed somewhere along the line perhaps…? Any points of view would be greatly appreciated, thanks |
