I recently acquired a 1995 Daytona 1200, it hasn´t been run for about 12 months. Apparently when it did run it used to suffer from hesitant acceleration when attempting an overtaking maneuver or similar, I assume this to be a carburetor problem and will probably start with a good clean out of said components. Anyone come across this before and could point me in any other rectification direction would be appreciated.

Another thing I stumbled upon was this bike has a 17 inch rear wheel, according to the manual I got with the bike it should be fitted with an 18inch rear wheel. Is this an option or has it been changed somewhere along the line perhaps…?
