JUST CAME ACROSS THIS WEBSITE AND THOT ID SAY A WORD OR 2 ABOUT MY BONNIE. I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW 04 BONNEVILLE BLACK IN MARCH OF 05(SAVED A 1000 DOLLARS!) FROM SHORELINE MOTORSPORTS IN WISCONSIN. IVE GOT ABOUT 4500 MILES ON IT SINCE. MOST OF MY RIDING IS BACK AND FORTH TO WORK EVERY DAY ABOUT 25 MILES ROUNDTRIP AND IT IS PERFECT FOR THIS. HAD IT ON THE HIGHWAY SOME BUT AT 450 LBS. I FEEL IT IS JUST TOO LIGHT TO COMPETE WITH SEMIS AND EVERYTHING ELSE OUT THERE. IT HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL BIKE THOUGH STARTS RIGHT UP EVERY TIME DOESNT LEAK ANYTHING, AND IS FUN TO RIDE. KIND OF DISAPPOINTED WITH THE GAS MILEAGE THO, ONLY 40 MPG I WONDER WHY? AND SEAT GETS PRETTY HARD AFTER ABOUT 50 MILES OR SO BUT IT WASNT INTENDED TO BE A LONG DISTANCE CRUISER OR ACROTCH ROCKET EITHER FOR THAT MATTER. I BOUGHT IT MAINLY FOR THE LOOKS AND GET A LOT OF COMMENTS ABOUT THAT. PEOPLE ALWAYS SAY ONE OF TWO THINGS WHEN SEE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME 1) WHAT YEAR IS IT AND 2)MAN YOU DID A NICE JOB RESTORING IT. EVERY WHERE YOU GO YOU WILL GET COMMENTS SO BE PREPARED FOR THAT . ALL IN ALL A VERY GOOD BIKE FOR WHAT IT WAS INTENDED
