Coulda fooled me. I had a ´72 Interstate and it pretty much looked like the picture. Low pipes (allegedly for saddlebag clearance), Combat engine, 6.5 gallon fuel tank.

I´m probably the exception, but I had no problems with the Amals in 20,000 miles of use.

Very sweet bike.
