I´m about to buy a 2000 TT 600. It´s from Australia & the paperwork will be a bit of a headache but after pondering bike purchases for the last three months I´ve been tempted by this bargain; 16,000 miles on the clock, £1,600. The front forks were damaged but have been rebuilt, a small but rather blatant chunk of the fairing is missing & the computerised element needs remapping but apparently Triumph can do this for free. It also has no pillion bar which will save me the trouble of chucking my girlfriend off the back but other than that it looks & sounds brilliant. Thrashing the TiTs off my 600 is not really what I´m into, I´ll most likely use it for commuting & weekend tours. I just wondered if anyone out there had any advice for me. It´s metallic blue & so far is the best handling & perfectly balanced machine I´ve yet ridden.
