I own 02 954rr and i ride with two guys who have 03 r6´s.My bike will smoke an r6 all day but it is 954cc not 600.Dont get me wrong both bikes are awesome.If i had to choose one I would base my decesion on cost and rider size.If you5´4" and 140 pds. get the r6 but if your 6´3" and 220 i would get something like the 954rr.
