Hello Everyone,

I´m new to this forum and wanted to ask a question. I currently have a 2004 Kawasaki Ninja 250 that I purchased about 5 months ago. It´s my first street motorcycle. Before this I had a 1979 Yamaha DT100 that I only rode off road. I love my Ninja. It´s an absolute blast to ride. I take very good care of it and it runs perfect.

I´m now looking into getting a bigger bike. I really like the looks of the 600cc sport bikes from all the manufactures: Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Honda.

I wanted to ask you guys a question about a 2001 Yamaha R6. There is one for sale in my area that sounds like it has been very well maintained. The description of the bike says it has a new front and rear tire, and a new chain and sprocket. I plan to look at it this weekend. When I e-mailed the seller he said that the bike has 37,000 miles on it. Do you think this is high miles for this bike? Also he is asking $3500.00 for it. Is this a fair price?

Any advice you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.
