I own the 2002 R6 "carb´d" model and I love it. Don´t consider the new injected factor into your buying equations. Later if you get into tinkering with your bike you´ll appreciate the carbs a little better. One good advantage to the injection is that you never have to mess with a choke switch on cold days, which I don´t see as much of a hassle anyway. Flip choke, start bike, warms for 30 seconds while I stap on my helmet, and I´M OFF!!!! Best suggestion I can make is sit on each bike and the bike that your butt loves is the bike that´s right for you. Your gonna be putting some time on it and your not going to want to regret the fact that the "other" bike you looked at was much more ergonimical for you, while the on your on now hurts your @ss!
