R6 Speedometer Accuracy

Does anyone know how accurate the speedometers are on a 2003 R6? I was following a Porsche Turbo the other day and it felt like I was barely moving, but when I looked down the speedo said 130mph. Does anyone have an idea of how fast I was really going?
