Yep mine does the same thing Dave except mine jumps to 8500 rpms and then 0 rpms and then current rpms it has a short some where.Did you have or put in after market turn sighnals? Mine did with previos owner. I plan on having a mechanic look at it. Just not sure who to trust yet maybe dealer.
