The 2000 R1 is by far the best Sportbike ever made. It blows Hondas off the road with ease. As Yamahas go - It was the fastest R1 made before they restricted the power output and added the pillow-biting tank graphics in 2001. The 2002 might surpass the 2000 but we will see. The GSXR1000 is simply a posers bike.
