Just had the original clutch replaced and was told during installation that the bike should have a modification kit put in it to avoid any it slipping again in the near future...not believing this I told the shop not to put it in since it would be an additional $250.00. I have only been for 3 rides and it is now slipping again. Why does the factory clutch last 15,000 miles and the replacement 300 miles? Anyone had the same problem? Solutions?
