oh you think so? i rode the 1000r and it had no bottom end. the mid range was boring and come to think of it. the bike was boring. it took no effort to ride. yeah its fast but has no personality! the gauges and surrounding area are ugly as hell. the bike looks good when you off it but looks and feels nasty when your riding it. needs after market clipons and rear sets... just plain blahhhh. i love a challenge and when i saw how many people flipped the r1 i had to try one out. its no where near as stable as the 1000R but it keeps me on my toes. anyone can twist a throttle back but not everyone can ride. hell most of the guys riding big bikes dont even use 50% of the bikes potential so why get one then? making up for something? wanna be king dingaling? i wish these guys would spend as much time in a track school or just plain trying to improve their skill level as much as they do on chroming, polishing, buying carbon fiber carbage, big bore kits, shift kits and talk n trash... see ya on the street-
