Cruisin rpm??

hello
might be a dumb question i just boiguht a yzf600r 1998 and im not sure of what rpm i should be cruisin at.. like if im just drivin a costant speed what should my rpm be? if im going 60 in third gear its about 4000 is this a good rpm for costant speed.. thnks a lot
