Modifications (that I know of) are: K&N Air filter, Dynojet kit, Exhaust System, and Regearing. (I dont suggest regearing unless you are more interested in doing wheelies then top speed).
My 2001 600R is at the shop right now having the jet kit and Vance&Hines Racing exhaust installed...
