I get an intermittant fault on my 98 R1 - the tacho flicks up to 7000, suggesting a problem with the EXUP. However, the bike runs fine, and there is no obvious problem. Is it usually a simple matter of a bit of lube, and checking the cable tension? Any hints or tips, it can´t be just me!!
