I bought my YZF new at the end of year 2000. Was used as my only transport for the first two years. Also included a trip across Australia and return to Perth covering about 11000 km in 14 days . Have owned many Yamaha´s over 35 years and this one is definitely the best. Explains why it´s still in the shed after 12 years. Has only 60,000 kays on it now as it only gets used on the fine days. Have replaced clutch slave cylinder seals and nothing else except tyres ( on its fifth set) and chain /sprocket set at 40,000kays. Proof if you use O.E. and lube properly they last well. Would not hesitate to recommend to any one even after this time. This one´s a keeper.
