I shortened my can 4 inches and took out 7 inches of packing. I didn´t really notice much difference in the performance but it looks a lot better and sounds great without attracting the attention of every cop within 2 miles. Best of all it only cost me about $5 for a tap and screws to go in place of the rivets.
