Im having trouble with exhaust pop when i let off the throttle. The owners manual i have is for a 2003. I was told they are the same. i used information to set carburetor. Seems to be worse. Now it wont idle by itself without choke, idle screw is turned in full. it had a #50 pilot jet and a #170 main jet. i put a #42 pilot and #165 main. At first i thought it was popping cause of rich conditions, went leaner but now its worse. Im in Tucson Arizona almost 3000 feet above sea level. Stock exhaust and engine. Please help, not able to ride with confidence very far into the desert.
