I have a 1997 Yamaha Royal Star 1300. The mileage is 27,267 right now. I am staring to notice the bike backfiring through the exaust
more. Somedays its not ba d, then somedays its not there, pretty intermittent. I put new plugs in the bike, and i run amocoa 93 octane fuel. I tried 89 octane but did not notice a difference. What else could be causing this? The bike runs great. Sometimes i notice a smell of gasoline in the exaust when i first starup. Any
ideas. Thanks Brian
