I own two, along with a 2005 V Star 1100, and I´m making one a solo ride, and the other a mid-size cruiser with no windshield or bags at the moment. It´s been sitting awhile and I need to wash out the tank, and clean the carbs. I got a great deal on it because the dirty old gas was being ran through the carbs and it just puttered. The guy knocked off $500 because it didn´t run good as advertised. I didn´t ask for a discount, he did it on his own. My other 1996 sat in a barn almost 5 years after an accident. The gas was separated and looked like crap. I had the carbs & tank cleaned and then the tornado hit, and I need to clean everything on the engine. It was in the Joplin tornado along with my 2005 V star 1100.
